Michelle Tea's iconic novel VALENCIA is being made into a feature length film! But this is not your average adaptation. Michelle has opened up her creative arms by inviting 21 different filmmakers to share their vision of the Valencia landscape. Each chapter of the landmark dyke novel will be independently adapted by a different filmmaker with their own cast and crew.
Lares Feliciano directs Chapter 4 starring the extraordinary Annie Danger. In Chapter 4 Michelle finds herself rebounding from Willa to Iris in the dim light of a late night zine party. After another fight with Willa, Michelle drowns her sorrow in the very labor union office that fired her not long ago. Amidst the glue sticks and zine pages a spark ignites between Michelle and Iris which grows fast under the San Francisco sun the next day at Dyke March.
