Based on the legendary 90's lesbian literary memoir Valencia by Michelle Tea, VALENCIA takes us on an adventurous journey through Michelle’s tumultuous love life as told by 20 different established and emerging LBGT filmmakers.
Chapter 4 of the book (Chapter 2 in the final film) stars the extraordinary Annie Danger and is directed by Lares Feliciano. In this chapter Michelle finds herself rebounding from Willa to Iris in the dim light of a late night zine party. Amidst glue sticks and zine pages a spark ignites between Michelle and Iris which grows fast under the San Francisco sun the next day at Dyke March. This chapter captures the magnetism of San Francisco's dyke culture as it explodes amongst the masses during Pride Weekend.
